Booking Direct with us...

At the time of booking the guest must pay either a deposit or the full balance to secure their booking, slots cannot be held.
 

£50 Deposit Amount - More than 56 days for arrival

Full Amount Due - 56 days or less for arrival

Where only a deposit has been paid, the guest must pay the balance no later than 42 days before arrival. Failure to do this entitles the owner to cancel the booking and to keep the full amount of deposit paid to date.

Cancellation Terms

If a booking is cancelled, the following will apply:

Guest Cancels Booking

The guest would be required to forfeit the following:

£50 Deposit - More than 42 days prior to arrival

50% of total Holiday Cost - 29 to 42 days prior to arrival

75% of total Holiday Cost - 8 to 28 days prior to arrival

100% of total Holiday Cost - 7 days or less prior to arrival

Owner Cancels Booking

100% Refund will be made as long as the balance is not overdue

50% Deposit if the balance is overdue

Security / Damage Bond

A £50 security / damage bond is added to all of our bookings, and is included in the total price paid by our guests. The security / damage bond is automatically refunded to our guests 5 days after departure unless a claim has been made for damages, and our Guests will be notified of this. Any remaining amount of the security bond will then be returned to the Guest.

Dog Inclusive Booking

We charge a standard fee of £20 per dog with your booking.

 

Who can come along...

We can provide for the little people too!

We can provide a travel cot and a high chair for the little guest, so please make sure you request at the time of making your booking, so that we can ensure it is placed in the caravan ready for your arrival. However, we do not provide a mattress and bedding for the travel cot, so please bring along your own (And of course, please bring teddy along too!!)

A J Holiday Rental

Introduction

These terms and conditions cover all bookings made direct through A J Holiday Rental.

In these terms and conditions, any reference made as you or your, relates to the lead person on the booking, and all other persons named on the booking. By making a booking via our website, the lead booker agrees on behalf of all persons included within their booking that they have read the terms and conditions, and agree to be bound by them. They give their consent to our use of their personal data in accordance with our privacy policy, and is authorised on behalf of all persons named on the booking to disclose their personal details to us. They must be over 21 years of age and resident within the UK. Accepts financial responsibility for payment of the booking on behalf of all persons detailed on the booking.

Availability and Booking Requests

Our availability is subject to a confirmation of all bookings, and we aim to ensure that our availability calendar is updated and accurate daily. Once a booking is live, you will receive an emailed confirmation of booking.

Contract

For all bookings, you will be entering into a contract with us for the hire of our Caravan, as specified on our website. The hire of our caravan is subject to our terms and conditions, and you must be aware of our cancellation and refund policy. Your booking is confirmed and live once you have made a payment and have received the booking confirmation from us.

Prices

The price of the caravan rental is displayed on the website, and is inclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to amend advertised prices at any time, we also reserve the right to correct errors in both advertised and confirmed prices. NB changes and errors sometimes occur. You must check the price of your booking on receipt of your confirmation. Obvious errors and mistakes (including misprints) are not binding.

Payment

In order to book our caravan rental, you must pay the £50 deposit at time of booking, or full payment if you are making the booking within 56 days of arrival. If you have paid the deposit, then you must pay the final balance no later than 42 days prior to arrival. If full payment is not received by the balance due date, we may cancel your booking, and charge the cancellation fees stated above. We do not compensate for any additional costs that arise for your pending stay, we will only ever refund the amount paid direct to us.

NB We do not charge a service fee when making your booking direct with us. We accept Bank Transfers, PayPal and Card Payments.

Insurance

We advise all of our guests to take out a policy of insurance in order to cover you and your party against the cost of cancellation by you, the cost of assistance (including repatriation) in the event of accident or illness, pre-existing medical conditions, loss of baggage, money and other expenses.

Special Requests

Please ensure you inform us at the time of booking if you have any special requests, we cannot guarantee we can meet all requests, but we will strive to do what we can, but we have no liability to do so.

Changes, Cancellations and No-Shows

If you wish to cancel or amend your confirmed booking, you will need to contact us immediately. All cancellations and amendment requests will be dealt with in accordance with our terms and conditions. Please ensure also that you have received our written confirmation showing the amendments to your booking prior to travelling to our caravan. Whilst we will try to assist, however we cannot guarantee that all requests can be met.

Depending on the type of booking you have made, it may be non-refundable which means that cancellation will incur a 100% cancellation charge, and no refund will be paid. Where your booking does allow for amendments and cancellations, these may be subject to certain restrictions, and you may not be able to make changes or cancellations free of charge after a certain date. Please check our terms and conditions which apply to your booking.

Changes and cancellations by the owners will be informed to you as soon as reasonably possible.

Transfer of bookings will need to be discussed with the owner, and a decision will be made as to whether this booking is transferable, or whether it is treated as a cancellation of booking. Any transfer of booking to any other person other than the lead booker shall be treated as a cancellation by you, and cancellation charges will apply. However, this will remain at the discretion of the owner, and their decision is final.

Complaints

We strive to deliver our caravan to you exactly the way in which we advertise it to you on our website. However, if you should find the accommodation not to our agreed standard we obviously want to hear from you as soon as possible, so that we have the opportunity to rectify the issue. If you fail to inform us immediately there is less opportunity for us to be able to rectify the complaint for you. The amount of compensation for the inconvenience that you would be entitled to may then be reduced, or extinguished as a result of failure to notify us. 

Information on our Website

All descriptions are intended to present a general idea of the services and facilities in relation to the rental of our caravan. Not all details and facilities are listed on the website, but we strive to include as much detail as possible, and aim to keep information current and up to date at all times. All third party facilities are subject to their availability at certain times of the year, and we would encourage you to research specific facilities prior to making your booking.

Force Majeure

We are not liable or to pay compensation if our obligations are affected by 'force majeure' (ie beyond our control) the consequences of which could not have been avoided, even with all reasonable measures have taken place. Examples of such are war, terrorism, civil strife, risk to human health, natural disaster, industrial dispute, or similar acts.

Damage Deposit

We take a £50 security / damage deposit which is paid by you at time of booking, and it is to cover any damage during your stay. Following a complete check on your day of departure, we will then confirm to you hopefully that everything was fine and return within 5 days your full deposit. In the event of any damage found we will contact you with the details, and refund the balance of funds to you. We therefore request you do an inspection on the property on arrival and inform us straight away of any issue you find. Photographic evidence of any damage found on arrival must be taken and submitted to the owner via email: ajholidayrental@gmail.com . Any issues not reported by you, may become your responsibility, and will be deducted from your damage deposit.

Any loss of caravan keys will also be deducted from the deposit, so please ensure they are stored in the key safe when leaving the caravan to reduce the risk of losing them.

Dogs

We love our dogs, and are happy to accommodate either 1 medium to large dog, or 2 small breed dogs in our accommodation. However, we do have a few simple requests, and that is they do not go onto the beds or furniture, or are left for periods of time in the caravan unattended. We appreciate at home they may go onto the sofa, so if this is the case, please ensure you bring a blanket or cover from home to cover the area your dog may sit.  

We charge a fee of £20 for all bookings that include a dog. We do provide a few basics for dogs, but would suggest ensuring you bring all your own dogs familiar toys, bedding leads etc.

There are also restrictions by Haven Golden Sands Park for certain breeds of dog that they will not allow on the park, they are: PIT BULL TERRIER, DOGO ARGENTINO, FILA BRASILEIRA and JAPANESE TOSA

Please also ensure that you pick up after your dog, and they must remain on their leash whilst out and about on the park.

Behaviour

All guests are expected to conduct themselves in an orderly and acceptable manner and not to disrupt the enjoyment of others. If in the opinion of any park manager or person in authority, your behaviour or that of any member of your party is causing, or is likely to cause distress, danger or annoyance to any other customers or third party, or damage to property, the owner reserves the right to terminate your booking immediately, with no liability to you. You and your party will be required to leave the caravan immediately. No refunds for lost accommodation or any other arrangements will be made and neither will we pay expenses or costs incurred as a result of your termination, You and your party may be required to pay for the loss or damage caused by your actions, and you and each member of your party will be held jointly and individually liable for any damage or losses caused by you or any member of your party. Full payment for any such damage must be paid directly to the owner prior to departure, and also where necessary you will forfeit your security deposit, If you fail to make payment or if your damage deposit is inadequate to cover the losses, you will be responsible for meeting any additional costs and expenses.

Additional Conditions

Please note that only the persons named on the booking form may reside in the Caravan. In the event we discover extra persons residing in the caravan, we have the right to charge you an additional sum, or request that the additional persons leave the caravan. Failure to comply may result in your booking being terminated, and all persons being required to vacate the caravan without any liability for a refund or compensation. All caravan hire is designated as Strictly NO SMOKING, for safety, comfort and legal reasons. The NO SMOKING rule includes the use of E CIGARETTES. Failure to comply may result in your booking being terminated by the owner, with no liability for a refund or compensation. You may also be liable to pay additional cleaning charges.
